Baby #2

Well the Peper family is going to be growing once again. Baby #2 is due April 18th. I made it through my first trimester amidst a lot of chaos...I think it actually helped to make it go by more quickly. I have had 2 ultrasounds so far and everything looks great! We are very excited and the timing couldn't be better. The exact due date puts me 7 weeks out from the end of school...still not sure if I'll go out for the whole year or come back for a week.

Our other big news is that we are building a house! We will be in a neighbourhood in Woodbury which will put Tim A LOT closer to work. The neighbourhood has a community center, pool, park and some good friends who are already living there. We are very excited about this too. They say it will be done in February or March so we'll be in just in time for baby.

I have to say I cannot believe it is already MEA break. For those of you who don't know what that is, here in MN teachers get 2 days off in October to go to "conferences." We use this time to do fun stuff. We are leaving Wednesday right after work to go up to Duluth to stay at The Edge, a waterpark hotel for the night. Annika is SO excited..."only 2 more daycares." Thursday we will get up and make our way to T. Bay for the weekend. It will be a short visit and I"m feeling a little under the weather so we won't be venturing out a lot but we will have some quality time at home with Grammy, Grandpa Hoho, Auntie Liisa and Uncle Rob. I am just so happy to have a short week.

Last weekend was very busy but very fun. I travelled to St. Cloud on Saturday to meet Elise and Noelle (both beautiful baby girls). It is always so nice to see the grad school group and to catch up, it's amazing how things have changed! On Sunday Annika and I headed down to Prior Lake to hang out with the other grad school girls. I just love seeing everyone and their kids...what beautiful babies we all have! Who would have thought that in less than 5 years we's be hanging around watching our kids play with each other?

Hopefully I can kick this sinus thing with a little advice from the doctor as to how I can baby safely relieve this pain. I am also very hopeful that I can avoid the H1N1...5% of the student population at 1 of my schools is out with flu like symptoms which mandates reports to the state...scary!

A funny preggo brain moment to finish things up:
Our principal sent out an email yesterday to inform us that 5% were out with flu. I forwarded that on to Tim saying "Read this...lovely...the dr was out of flu shots...love you" About 5 minutes later I received this response "Allison-either we are closer than I thought or this was supposed to go to someone else. I'm sorry your dr was out of flu shots. Take care...signed you principal" Opps...I hit reply instead of forward and told my new principal of less than 2 months that I loved him...so embarrased...at least he had a good sense of humor about it!!!
